Today we continued the painstaking task of planning meals for the week. We priced out food at the Merc (about had a heart attack), stressed about what the heck our kids would even eat, although I was very happy to find Non-GMO Pop Tarts and Jerky the kids were happy with.
Tonight, Brian and I spent a lot of time on https://kc.doortodoororganics.com/ which we love. By the way, they have a section of just Non-GMO food that you can order. I am excited to get my first order in tomorrow delivered right to my door. If you would like more information message me your email address (friends that sign up get 50% off their first order).
We did buy a few things at The Merc today, but since we didn't have our meal plan yet it was more of look-see than a real shopping trip. So happy to admit that when I got home (thanks to my clumsiness) I Christened the house for our organic voyage by breaking a $6 glass bottle of milk across our floor. Yay me!!
One of the items we are nixing off our list; Breads. Know anyone with gluten allergies or celiac disease? I posted this on Facebook yesterday but in case you missed it definitely read.
